West Palm Beach is quieter and the people are more friendly than farther south in Florida. As well, Palm Beach has some of the most exclusive and luxurious homes in the world along with sensational dining and nightlife and fun attractions.
There are an amazing array of restaurants and bistros in West Palm Beach that serve a wide variety of menu choices. You can choose a more casual or ethnic fare, or enjoy the very best in fine dining. I would try L’Escalier in the Breakers Hotel for a terrific fine dining experience, or the Tiki Water Front Sea Grill for a causal but delicious meal with a great view while you eat.
The nightlife in West Palm draws people from all across South Florida. You will like the variety and the people. West Palm Beach residents take pride in their appearance and you are sure to see some beautiful and celebrities when you are out. Jimmy Buffet, Anna Kournakova, and many other have homes in West Palm Beach and are see here and there. Go straight to Clematis Street to find the best strip of nightclubs and bars. City Place is a good spot too, especially for families and shopping.
There are plenty of other activities for you while you are in Palm Beach. Only about a hour down the road is Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. There are numerous sporting events and casinos for you to visit. While in West Palm Beach however, you can relax of the beautiful beaches, go snorkeling, jet skiing, and all of the fun watersports. Try the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts for great shows and events. Also, if you like shopping or great beauty salons or spas, then the City place is the place for you. West Palm beach is a great spot for you next family vacation or romantic weekend gettaway.
